I met this Korean man in Guam at a Mango Festival. He is a master carver and had many different items on display. The animal carvings are what originally caught my eye. His ability to speak English was limited and my aptitude for Korean was completely absent. I purchased a camel from him, which he carved in about 1 1/2 hours from mango tree wood. Sadly, one of the camel's legs broke during my travels from Guam to Hawai'i. But nevertheless, I have a good memory of my conversation with this gentleman and his family. I pray for this man and his family--that one day they'll come unto Jesus, lest they already have. Praise be unto the Lord alone for His steadfast love and mercy that continues forever.
